New crockery at the Village Hall

The Village Hall has just bought about 80 sets of good quality white crockery for dinners and suppers – large plates, small plates, bowls, cups and saucers. This is available on request to anyone booking the Hall for events where “proper” sit down catering is needed. We hope this will encourage people to use the Hall more for this type of function. It is essential to book use of the crockery when making the reservation, as it will not be used for any “normal” functions. The purchase was made possible by a grant of £500 from the Cumbria County Council Neighbourhood Forum, and the Village Hall is very grateful for this support.
