The Post Office is located across the road from the Horse and Farrier Inn and is run by Sue Dunn. It is open 9am to 3pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. It provides a full postal service (except for issuing car tax) and also sells post cards, village books etc.

The mobile shop visits the village and quarry side twice a week on a Wednesday at 7pm and a Saturday at 5.30pm. The shop supplies fruit and vegetables, groceries and bread. For more information telephone mobile no. 07979 595245
