The School has recently been reaccredited as a Healthy School. A group of pupils, staff and governors were invited to attend the award ceremony. The award is in recognition of all the aspects of the school’s curriculum and ethos that promotes a healthy lifestyle.

At Threlkeld this includes a large range of sporting activities, both in school and after school activities, their use of the local environment, their commitment to providing high quality school meals, their education of children in the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and their strategies for creating a happy, healthy atmosphere around school.

Two pupils gave a presentation on an aspect of the school’s life that demonstrated the Healthy School concept.
