News from the Parish Council - July 2011

         The Parish Council met on Tuesday 29^th June 2011. 

          The following items were discussed:

          September’s Parish Council Meeting

          The date has been changed to the 20^th September.

Kiln Howe Lottery Grant

There is a need to reapply for this.  New quotes needed before this can happen.

Kiln Howe Grass

The council agreed to accept a quote from Mark Hill, and request that the first cut is before the Cumbria in Bloom judging.

Village Roads

The parish clerk is to write to Cumbria Highways regarding the state of the village roads; noting that marks have been made for repairs but lots of areas have been missed.
