Parish Council News

Minutes of the Threlkeld Parish Council Meeting held in the Village Hall on Tuesday 29^th November at 7.30pm.

Present:  Cllr Carolyn Cripps chaired the meeting, with, Cllr Les Dalzell, Cllr Tim Foster, Cllr Donald Angus, Cllr Lorraine Baxter& Cllr Roger Bragg.  Judith Cooke also attended the meeting.

The following items were discussed:

Water Running onto the road at Grassgarth

The Parish Council have contacted Cumbria Highways regarding the water running on to the road at Grassgarth.  A site meeting was held between the Parish Council, Highways Authority and the landowners.  The Highways will be taking stapes to rectify these issues, hopefully before the weather worsens.

Present:  Carolyn Cripps chaired the meeting, with, Cllr Les Dalzell, Cllr Trevor Roberts,

Cllr Gillian Winter, Cllr Tim Foster, Cllr Lorraine Baxter& Cllr Roger Bragg. District Councillor David Huxley also attended. Stuart Creswell attended the meeting to discuss the agenda items relevant.

The following items were discussed:

Kiln Howe

~ An application has been submitted to the Big Lottery Grant to surface the footpath at Kiln Howe.  We should know the outcome prior to the next parish council meeting.

Present: Carolyn Cripps chaired the meeting, with Guy Duxbury, Les Dalzell, Trevor Roberts. & Roger Bragg. There were no members of the public present.
