There is an exciting schedule of events covering the five days of the Keswick Mountain Festival. A very wide and varied activity programme will make the most of the outdoors, whilst indoors at the Theatre by the Lake, Moot Hall, Keswick Museum and Cinema there will be lectures, slide shows, films and exhibitions.

The ‘Base Camp’ of the Festival will be situated at the Moot Hall and this will be the Festival’s centre for information, last minute booking, directions, queries and just a chat during the Festival.
We are running 3 walks on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each walk costs £10 and includes lunch or afternoon tea-ALL the proceeds will support footpath repair on Blencathra.

• Walk 1 The Blencathra Centre Experience - Keswick to Blencathra Centre via Latrigg Summit and Brundholme woods
• Walk 2 Over Blencathra Summit Classic - mountain walk over Blencathara via Scales Fell
• Walk 3 The Glenderaterra - A walk through the interesting geology of the Glenderaterra Valley plus an ascent of Latrigg
