Choral Evensong
This month we are hosting Keswick Choral Society as they lead us in Choral Evensong – 4.00pm on Sunday 26thFebruary, come and join us for this lovely service.
LENT COURSE – ‘The Way to Freedom’
In Lent, Christians go on a journey of deepening reflection, prayer and discipline which leads them to the great festival of new life at Easter. In this Lent study course, supported by Churches Together in Cumbria, we are invited to think of this journey as leading towards the true freedom of living in love towards God and others, and what this freedom means for ourselves, our churches, our local communities and our world today. Bible studies will be an important part of the material and the course is open to all.
It all begins on ASH WEDNESDAY with an informal celebration of Holy Communion in the lounge of the Youth Centre at St John’s-in-the-Vale at 7.30pm – then we will meet weekly around the parishes – visit our website (www. threlkeldchurch.org.uk) or contact church members for further details.
