One of Britain’s most prominent explorers Benedict Allen’s daring exploits over the past 20 years have taken him to  some of the remotest parts of the world including the Amazon, Siberia, New Guinea, Haiti, Mongolia, the Gobi desert and the Namib desert.

An audience with Benedict Allen offers the chance to question Benedict about his life.  Why did he take part in a six week initiation ceremony with the Niowra ‘crocodile’ people where he was beaten every day?  What is the worst thing he has had to eat?  Why does he risk his life being an explorer?
