Beneath Blencathra: Editor's News December 2011

The next edition of Beneath Blencathra will be February 2012 – there will be no January issue. The deadline for material for this will be Wednesday 1st February.

I welcome any suggestions as to what the readers would like to see in the magazine. Please feel free to drop me an e-mail/give me a call – with the new year I welcome new ideas!

Advertisements costs for local businesses, items for sale, etc. are increasing to £4/issue for up to half a page, £8/issue for a full page (£40/£80 for the year). Please give money to Madeline before the deadline. Please note adverts for local organisations and community events are free and from 2012 there will also be a colour edition once a year.
